Streamer Flowers

This past week I have been running around planning and decorating a graduation party. My oldest cousin has finally graduated from law school. So I decided to help her out with the decorations. I ended up creating an arch of balloons as well as a few clusters of flowers. The flowers I ended up making were made of streamers and looked very original. Since these flowers were really easy to make and looked very cute I've decided to write a how to blog about them.

Materials:
    Scissors
    Floral Wire
    Floral Tape
    Streamers
  1. Cut two 18 inch long streamer fragments. Grab one and fold it by halves until it is only about 1 inch in length. Then half way in length begin cutting it into an arch. Grab the second streamer and fold it a little less than halfway and then continue to fold it half way until it is only 1 inch in length. And cut it into an arch. (The reason it the second piece is not folded exactly like the first piece is so that each petal does not overlap)

     2. Hook the floral wire into one side of both overlapped streamers and start wrapping the streamers around the wire. Make sure to pinch the paper a little as you wrap it so that it gets more shape.
     3. Then wrap come of the floral tape around the flower in order to secure it. They end up looking like this:
